Types of Portfolios
The three most common types of portfolios are designed with specific objectives in mind.
A low-risk portfolio is intended for cash preservation.
A moderate-risk portfolio aims for moderate growth.
A high-risk portfolio seeks aggressive growth.
The development of your portfolio should be based on your financial goals and investment horizon. For instance, if you have $50,000 that you don’t plan to use for the next five years, you might want to consider creating a portfolio geared towards moderate growth.
